Greenwich, London
Greenwich or Greenwich is a neighborhood (formerly an independent city) and an administrative area of London on the south bank of the River Thames.
It is world-famous for its observatory, founded in 1675 by King Charles II. The meridian passing through it is assumed to be zero and is determined by its longitude.
