Woolwich Arsenal, London

Woolwich is a district in south-east London, England, within the Royal District of Greenwich. The location of the Thames area led to its status as an important maritime, military, and industrial area; a role that persisted in the 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, and most of the 20th century.
